CHARLIE ADAM DOES A ‘SPRINT’ IN CANADA

Friends Of Liverpool

With Liverpool FC on their pre-season tour of North America, all the media-talk has been about Clint Dempsey, Andy Carroll & Joe Allen of Swansea.

Not that it seems to have bothered Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam.

The talented, if ponderous Scotsman seems unconcerned by the new situation surrounding him with Brendan Rodger’s arrival at the helm at Liverpool.

With the return of Joe Cole and Albert Aquilani from loan spells at Lille and AC Milan this Summer, Adam may well have to fight for his place in a 4-3-3 formation.

Former Manager Kenny Dalglish signed him a year ago and he did fairly well scoring 2 goals in 35 appearances, providing 5 assists, however, he seemed to tire early in games as his influence waned at times.

He seems to be consisently short on strength and stamina at Liverpool, though that may improve this Season.

If he will still be a Liverpool player this season remains to be seen.
