SOTO GONE TO WOLFSBURG

Liverpool’s no-nonsense defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos has moved to Wolfsburg in a two-year deal.

The towering greek defender leaves Anfield on a free transfer as the Liverpool clearout begins.
The popular defender who was signed from AEK Athens by former Manager, Rafa Benitez as a then replacement for Sammi Hypia.

Soto endeared himself to Liverpool fans with his rugged, battling displays, but he is deemed to be surplus to Kenny Dalglish’s requirements.

I thought he would be playing against Exeter in the Carling Cup on Wednesday!

Maybe this will allow Liverpool room to go after Gary Cahill or Scott Dann.
