AQUILANI “STAYING AT LIVERPOOL”

Friends Of Liverpool

Welcome news today is that it looks like Liverpool playmaker, Alberto Aquilani will be staying at Anfield.
The attacking midfielder returned from his loan-spell at Juventus this Summer and he has been very impressive in the pre-season friendlies in the Far East, setting up several goals for his team-mates.

His agent, Franco Zavaglia, told Radio Mana Mana: “Aquilani will definitely stay at Liverpool.”

Aquilani has infamously struggled with injury, making just nine Premier League starts for Liverpool in two years, but Zavaglia added: “Alberto has got over his ankle problem, he’s back in the international set-up and has the characteristics needed to do well in the Premier League.
“He’s in pre-season training with Liverpool and has played in all of the team’s summer tour games so far.”

While Liverpool do need to sell many of their squad players to reduce the wage-bill, it is believed now that Aquilani is not one of those thought to be leaving.

“Denis Law could dance on eggshells.”
