Aston Villa’s Luke Young is close to completing a move to Liverpool.
His agent, Andy Evans said the two clubs had agreed a fee, believed to be around £2.5 million and are now discussing terms for the 31 year old full-back.
Young has travelled with Martin O’ Neill’s side on their pre-season tour of Portugal, but his agent is in close contact with Liverpool officials in order to complete his move to the Reds.
