EVERTON DRAW WITH SPURS TO KEEP US IN TOUCH

Friends Of Liverpool

Everton came back from 2-0 down to draw at Goodison Park 2-2.
The result means Harry’s Hotspurs stay in 4th on 27 points.
We currently lie in seventh on 24 points, three points outside the top four with Aston Villa and Man City ahead of us in fifth and sixth.
So, it ain’t all bad, we are in touching distance of the top four despite being without Torres for ages now.
With him back in the side, alongside Aquilani (I hope), we can and will beat any of those teams above us over the remainder of the season, starting with a win against Arsenal next Sunday.

Rafa Benitez has said that Aquilani will start in the Champions League dead rubber against Fiorentina on Wednesday night, while Torres will take his place on the bench.
Great news for all Reds who want to see a quality player in the team, a player who has an eye for a killer pass and scores a few himself.

I cant wait to finally see him get a game, he is the missing piece of the jigsaw for me.

The papers have reported that Liverpool have opened talks with Javier Mascherano and Pepe Reina about new, improved contracts.
Good news if it means Masch is turning his back on a £30 million move to Barcelona.

Trent Alexander-Arnold to Leave Liverpool at the End of the Season

It is, perhaps, the worst-kept secret in football, but the news has finally been confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold will be leaving Liverpool when this title-winning season has reached its conclusion, leaving Liverpool to look for a replacement – hopefully in ready made Connor Bradley.
