FOUR REASONS WHY LIVERPOOL’S SEASON MAY IMPLODE

Liverpool Fans

1. Liverpool have been dealt a rocket-blow with the news on Saturday that Momado Sakho had failed a drug test. He seems to have been using a fat-burning medicine, outlawed by UEFA and may now be banned for up to six months for the offence, intentional or not.
Without our most important central defender Liverpool look a lot more shaky at the back, as evidenced by our 2-2 draw at home against relegation strugglers Newcastle United, now managed by Rafa Benitez.

Two goals up at half-time we conceded two sloppy goals to draw when we should won to go 6th in the League.

2. Divock Origi: The young Belgian forward has been in superb form of late, scoring 5 goals in his last five games until he was viciously hacked down against Everton, ending his Liverpool Season. He will be badly missed as Sturridge can’t do it all on his own.

3. Jordan Henderson: Liverpool’s captain has been troubled by heel complaints all Season, now he is out with knee ligament troubles, has been missed in midfield.

4. Daniel Sturidge: Injured his ankle ligaments recently, while I think he has lots of areas of his game which he needs to improve on, including back passing too often, he has the makings of a good player.

So having thrown away a two-goal lead against the Magpies, Liverpool face a tough away encounter at La Madrigal against Villarreal in the Europa League semi-final next Thursday, lose that and our Season may begin to crumble…

Man of the Match v Newcastle: Alberto Moreno, never thought I’d hear that being said but he was!
