He has done it again. It seems every week I write one of these Mohammed Salah wins an award. This week the magic Egyptian claimed his sixth Liverpool Standard Chartered player of the month and his third Premier League player of the month as he excelled in March.

It has been a great month for Salah as he scored six Premier League goals, including four at Watford. Liverpool also progressed through to the Champions League quarter-finals as they beat Porto and only lost one game to an inform Manchester United.

Another Liverpool award has been handed out this week. Simon Mignolet has been presented with a community award by the Professional Footballer Association in recognition of his support and work for the club’s official charity. The Belgian keeper has helped the LFC Foundation by helping with educational programmes during the season.

Mo Salah and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain are both up for the Champions League Goal of the Week award. The accolade covers both legs of the Manchester City tie in which The Reds won 5-1 on aggregate.

Chamberlain’s goal gave Jürgen Klopp’s side a second goal in the first leg, while Salah’s cool chip was the equaliser in the second. The pair goes up against Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Suarez and Mario Mandzukic for the award.

While Salah and Ox were nominated for the Champions League goal of the week. Sadio Mane was nominated for the player of the week as he played an important role in helping Liverpool come back from behind to beat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. He goes up against Edin Dzeko, Mario Mandzukic and Arjen Robben for the prize.

Liverpool FC will be in their first semi-final Champions league draw for the first time in ten years today at midday. Bayern Munich, Roma and Real Madrid are the other three teams in the draw.

The Reds will be travelling down to Bournemouth to play Eddie Howe’s side at 5:30 pm tomorrow. There doesn’t seem to be any new injury news for Liverpool with Henderson looking to return to the starting 11 after he was suspended for the Manchester City match midweek.

Liverpool has confirmed they will take part in the ICC tournament before the 2018/19 season takes place as part of the sides pre-season preparations. Klopp and co will be taking on some of Europe’s best sides including, Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich.

Transfer Rumours

Liverpool has been watching Championship young star, James Maddison. The Norwich midfielder has easily been The Canaries best player this season and the club from Norfolk have slapped a £30million price tag on the England U21 international’s head.
