Liverpool are through to the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League for the first time in nine years. The reds came into the second leg leading 5-0 on aggregate and have qualified for the next round despite drawing 0-0.
The club will know who they face in the next round on the 16th March when the Quarter-Final draw takes place.
Following their win, they now turn their attention to Saturday when they face Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Liverpool’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has come under scrutiny by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry. Henry criticised the England international’s performances at his former club Arsenal but has stated he is improving at Liverpool.
Henry said: “132 games for Arsenal in the Premier League he only scored nine goals and got 14 assists but for Liverpool, he already has three goals and five assists.”
“We can now see clarity in his game and in what he’s being asked to do. That is what he is showing right now. All credit must go to Jurgen Klopp and Oxlade-Chamberlain himself.”
Liverpool’s manager has high praise for Virgil Van Dijk after his summer move from Southampton. Since his move, Van Dijk has settled in comfortably at the back for the reds with the manager happy at his progress.
Klopp said: “We bought him not because he is a good lad but because he is a good footballer. But being a good lad helps a lot to settle in the team immediately – and that’s what he did.”
“His body language is brilliant, to be honest. He looks like a leader, like a warrior, already like a Liverpool player – that’s good news.”
Youth News:
Following their defeat to Leicester City, Liverpool U23s turn their attention to Friday when they face Manchester United in the Premier League 2. The defeat against Leicester meant the Reds dropped down to second place although they have a game in hand. A win against Manchester United would leave them level on points with the Foxes.
Steven Gerrard’s U18s return to action following a two-week break as they take on Derby County at home. Liverpool ended a winless run of four games when they beat Wolves 2-1 on the 24th February.
They currently sit third in the league one point behind Everton who are second.
