Mohammed Salah has won the clubs Standard Chartered Player of the Month award for February after the Egyptian enjoyed another sensational month. It started with the 2-2 draw with Tottenham, Salah scored both and his second was a fine goal, any player would be proud of.
Next came the visit to Southampton where he scored one and bagged an assist also, as he did against Porto in the Champions League and against West Ham as well.
Salah was an easy winner for fans who voted for Mo, he was a clear victor against second place Roberto Firmino and third place Andy Robertson. The club’s top scorer this season has now won 5 of the 7 player of the month awards this season as his sparkling form continues.
Salah wasn’t the only Liverpool player aiming for awards this week. James Milner’s Champions League performance on Tuesday night earned the former England international a nomination for the competition’s player of the week. The other nominees are Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Gonzalo Higuain (Juventus) and Leroy Sane (Manchester City).

Virgil van Dijk, Mo Salah and Andy Robertson will look to return to the starting eleven for tomorrows mid-day clash with Manchester United. The trio were dropped from the starting 11 alongside Oxlade Chamberlain and Trent Alexander Arnold on Tuesday night in preparation for the game. With captain Jordan Henderson picking up a slight knock towards the end of the game, Chamberlain could make his return to the field tomorrow.
