Divock Origi included in €80M offer for Thomas Lemar
It is reported on Tuesday afternoon that Liverpool have offered £74.3million in cash plus Divock Origi on loan for this season for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar. However, Monaco remain reluctant to sell Lemar, who managed nine goals and 10 assists in 34 Ligue 1 appearances last season and was an important part of Leonardo Jardim’s side that won the Ligue 1 title last season.
Liverpool have also been given a huge boost in their bid to sign the Monaco star by Thursday after a deal was agreed for his possible replacement, according to a report. According to reports, Monaco have agreed a deal with Lazio for Keita Balde and he is set to undergo a medical on Tuesday evening.
Liverpool would pay €50m up front this summer and a further €30m next year should the offer be accepted by Monaco. Monaco have already sold a host of first-team players this summer, with Tiemoue Bakayoko, Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva all departing the French champions.
Liverpool to send Allan Rodrigues de Souza on loan in Portugal
Liverpool youngster Allan Rodrigues de Souza is set to head for Portugal on a season-long loan. The Reds have received offers the 20-year-old Brazilian midfielder, who doesn’t have a work permit and thus still unable to feature for the Reds.
The ECHO understands that Liverpool are on the brink of agreeing on a loan deal with a Primeira Liga club. Liverpool hope that regular game time and no language barrier will help him settle quickly and ensure a successful season in order to secure a work permit for the Brazil Under-20s international next summer.
Since joining from Internacional on a £500,000 deal in 2015, Allan had loan stints with Finnish side SJK and Sint-Truiden of Belgium before linking up with Hertha Berlin last summer where he made just eight starts all season.
Coutinho’s injury caused by stress over his future, says doctor
Philippe Coutinho is pictured back in training for Brazil and look ready for action. The Brazilian doctor has said that his recent injury was caused by emotional stress over his future, apparently having had a transfer request rejected by Liverpool, amid interest from Barca.
The Brazilian is yet to feature for the Reds this season, due to a back injury but looks set to play a full part for his national side after joining up with the squad. Coutinho missed Liverpool clash against Arsenal on Sunday with Klopp confirming that the Brazilian was not fit to play. However, just a couple of days later, it appears that he has made a very quick recovery.
It remains unknown whether Coutinho will still be a Liverpool player by the end of Thursday. While some outlets have reported Liverpool are now willing to negotiate, others claim the club’s stance has not changed at all.
