After losing to Crystal Palace last weekend, Jurgen Klopp cannot afford another slip up as the Reds aim to qualify for next season’s Champions League. Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge return to full training will boost Liverpool’s attacking options as they travel to Watford tonight.
With series of injury hampering the side, Klopp has resorted to field teenagers in recent weeks. Klopp will have been encouraged by the sight of Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge continuing their recoveries from injury with another run-out during full training at Melwood.
Liverpool reportedly want £40 million for Daniel Sturridge
Liverpool are reported to have slapped a £40million price tag on the head of Daniel Sturridge. Jurgen Klopp is willing to cash in during the summer as he hopes to use the money to bring in new additions. Despite the England international missing a huge portion of the season due to hip injuries and a virus, the Liverpool striker will not be let go on the cheap.
When fit, Sturridge is arguably one of the best strikers on his day, with 59 goals in 115 appearances for Liverpool. Arsene Wenger is known to be a big admirer, while West Ham United and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be in the hunt.
Liverpool linked with Oxford United winger
Liverpool, alongside Premier League rivals Leicester City and Everton, are reportedly interested in signing Oxford United winger Marvin Johnson. With 9 goals and 14 assists to his name, the Oxford winger has been impressive this term and will be hoping to impress the scouts after helping Oxford beat Shrewsbury on Sunday in an attempt to earn a shock move to the top flight.
Lorven signs new deal with Liverpool
Croatian defender Dejan Lovren has reportedly committed his future to the club until 2021. He will be earning £100,000-a-week with the Merseysiders.

Overall, in 29 games (all competitions) this term, Lovren has scored two goals and provided an assist as well.
