Jurgen Klopp set for stunning £150m spending spree

According to The Sun, Klopp is ready to spend over £150m this summer on his key targets; Athletic Bilbao ace Inaki Williams, Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko, Virgil van Dijk from Southampton and Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

However, Bakayoko is also wanted by Chelsea and Manchester United are monitoring Oxlade-Chamberlain’s situation at Arsenal and Klopp will face competition for his top targets. The Sun also added that Klopp will axe Daniel Sturridge, Lucas Leiva, Alberto Moreno and Adam Bogdan this summer to make way for new arrivals.

Liverpool plot summer raid for 17-year-old wonderkid

According to a report, Klopp is planning a raid for Nottingham Forest’s Ben Brereton in the summer. Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big fan of the 17-year-old striker and is convinced that he wants to mould the striker into a future Anfield star. The Sun reports that the Premier League side will have to fork out £10million if they are to force Forest to sell the 17-year-old.

The Liverpool boss has sent scouts to watch his last few matches and is impressed by his talent. In his nine appearances for the club so far, the English striker has found the net on three occasions and has set up a further two goals for his teammates.

Liverpool target Keita rushed to hospital following collapse while playing for RB Leipzig

Naby Keita was rushed to hospital on Saturday after collapsing on the pitch during his club RB Leipzig’s 1-0 defeat to Wolfsburg. The 22-year-old was observed overnight in the hospital after collapsing on the pitch with no one around him. It is said that Keita suffered circulatory problems however there has been no official comment from the club regarding the situation and reports claim that Keita is now conscious.

The midfielder was booked on the 33rd minute and played the entire game before the incident. The goal from Mario Gomez in the 9th minute was enough for Wolfsburg in the end as RB Leipzig falls further behind in the title race to 10 points behind leaders Bayern Munich.

The Guinea-born midfielder has been linked with a move to Anfield this summer after impressing for the Bundesliga side. However, Liverpool are not the only club interested, as Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal are all keeping tabs on the midfielder.
