Liverpool suffered a cruel blow this week when key forward Daniel Sturridge suffered a calf-strain, just as he was on the brink of returning for the Reds following an injury with woeful Roy Hodgson’s England in August.
Now Brendan Rodger’s Liverpool will have to persist without him for another few weeks as QPR and Real Madrid lie in wait, not easy.
