Liverpool have been handed a boost this evening in their quest for Europe, with Tottenham Hotspur losing 2-1 to Chelsea at Stamford bridge. A first-half goal by Santos gave Spurs the lead, but a controversial goal was awarded to Chelsea when Gomes spilled a ball onto his own goaline and the goal was given by the Linesman. Torres was taken off on 61 mins, what a shame, to be replaced by Kalou who scored the winner for Chelsea on 87 mins. The result is great for Liverpool as we will go 5th with a win tomorrow against Newcastle, it also keeps Chelsea in the hunt for the title, they are now just 3 points behind Utd, who play Arsenal at the Emirates, also on Sunday. Lets hope for a Liverpool victory at Anfield and that Arsenal beat the scum Utd.
