Sheyi Ojo made a lot of clever runs going forward and was a constant danger in attack. He could\u2019ve had a couple of goals to turn the match around, but unfortunately Daniel Bentley produced some decent saves in the Brentford goal. However, there was one occasion in the second half, when a header from Ojo was almost spilled by Bentley into the back of the net, but the \u2018keeper recovered quickly and spared himself some embarrassment.<\/p>\n
Willem II are finally getting some momentum to their season and are beginning to pull themselves away from the relegation zone. An emphatic 3-1 win at home to Heracles at the weekend was a dominant performance as the home side found themselves three up after 20 minutes. Pedro Chirivella was returning from injury for the first time and was an integral cog in the midfield. He completed an impressive 45 passes, more than anyone else on the pitch. Making several dangerous and a couple of key passes, Origi was making a statement in his tenth league appearance as speculation continues to grow about whether or not he has a future at Liverpool. His biggest chance of the game came from a left-footed shot from outside the area, which forced a very smart stop from Yann Sommer at the near post.<\/p>\n
Allan was absent from the 3-0 win against Ethnikos Achna on Monday night due to an injury, but recovered in time for the weekend. He was part of the forceful 6-0 win over Paphos and unsurprisingly, hardly put a foot wrong. On Tuesday, he was a second-half substitute as his side were knocked out of the Belgian Cup at the hands of Sporting Charleroi in the round of 16. Awoniyi came on with the score already at 1-0 and couldn\u2019t do anything to turn the match around. On Saturday, there was a 1-1 home draw with St. Truiden, which Awoniyi had very little impact on.
