Misplaced a number of passes and was too slow on the ball, not the N’Zonzi the Sevillistas have become accustomed to – was substituted at half-time.

Directed much of Sevilla’s play and produced a fantastic cross from a set-piece for Ben Yedder’s headed goal.

The Sevilla hero – was the fastest to react to a corner-kick in stoppage time to fire past Karius for Sevilla’s equaliser.

Was direct and powerful with his forward runs – looked comfortable on the ball and played a number of delicate passes.

On the periphery for much of the match but did have one major goalscoring chance in the first-half.

Scored with a superb header and a re-taken penalty to get Sevilla back into the match – Sevilla’s most potent attacking player.

Made a fantastic save to deny Nolito when the score was still 0-1 and commanded his area well – could have done more to stop Sevilla’s second.

Had a solid game on the right – didn’t attack too much but his sound defensive performance forced Sevilla to mainly put pressure on the left side.

After a quiet first-half, he was called into action early in the second-half and produced a wonderful tackle – was left exposed by his midfielders.

Was once again the leader of the backline and, like his central defensive partner, was left unprotected throughout the second-half

Had a decent enough first-half but for the fifteen minutes he was on the pitch in the second-half he was a changed man – gave away the free-kick for Sevilla’s first and the penalty for their second.

Was strong and central to Liverpool’s dominance in the first-half but drifted away in the second – he and his midfield teammates must realise the role they play in Liverpool’s defensive setup.

Gave away possession from which Sevilla almost scored but pressed well in the first-half, however, disappeared in the second and barely touched the ball.

Showed glimpses of his talent but even in the first-half he was fairly muted – substituted on the hour-mark.

Scored a header to double Liverpool’s lead halfway through the first-half with the same corner routine as the opener – however, he appeared off the pace and disappointed with his lacklustre defensive display.

Scored in the opening moments with a well-taken finish at the back post and got his second of the night with a simple tap-in – Liverpool’s best attacker.

Couldn’t continue his fine goalscoring run but was, nevertheless, a threat in attack even if chances were few and far between.

Sevilla Sergio Rico – 6 Made some good reactive saves, however, should have come out for Liverpool’s third goal.
