{"id":699,"date":"2009-12-20T00:52:00","date_gmt":"2009-12-20T00:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.friendsofliverpool.com\/2009\/12\/20\/at-least-man-utd-lost\/"},"modified":"2017-02-09T14:33:03","modified_gmt":"2017-02-09T14:33:03","slug":"at-least-man-utd-lost","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.friendsofliverpool.com\/2009\/12\/at-least-man-utd-lost\/","title":{"rendered":"AT LEAST MAN UTD LOST"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After an abject, hapless performance earlier today down at bottom of the table, Portsmouth, the only positive I can take from the day&#8217;s football is that Man Utd were thumped 3-0 by Fulham with former Red, Danny Murphy opening the scoring.<br \/>\nWe won&#8217;t win title number 19 this season, sadly, so I just hope that Man Ure don&#8217;t win it this season as they would move ahead of us on the number of Championships won.<br \/>\nGod, we are having a nightmare season.<br \/>\nHumiliated in the Champions League, out of the Carling Cup and seventh in the League.<br \/>\nWe finished second to Man Utd last season and only lost two games all season.<br \/>\nWe have lost seven in the Premier League already this season.<br \/>\nThe team is in trouble, the set-up just isn&#8217;t right we are conceding far too many goals and losing too many games.<br \/>\nThe book-makers have Rafa Benitez at 7\/1 on to be the next manager to lose his job.<br \/>\nI still believe he should be given until the end of the season before he is judged, he deserves that much time after his achievements at the club.<br \/>\nIn any case, who would want to take over a club \u00a3230 million in debt and a tiny transfer kitty available?<br \/>\nStan Collymore has been saying that Rafa has lost the dressing room, I don&#8217;t believe that for a minute, poor defending has been our problem all season.<br \/>\nKeep a clean sheet and we have half the job done, concede soft goals and you are in trouble.<br \/>\nIn any case, the show must go on, next up is Mick McCarthy&#8217;s Wolves next week, lets hope for a better performance and a win from Liverpool.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After an abject, hapless performance earlier today down at bottom of the table, Portsmouth, the only positive I can take from the day&#8217;s football is that Man Utd were thumped 3-0 by Fulham with former Red, Danny Murphy opening the scoring.
