Thankfully the injury isn\u2019t as bad as it was first expected to be. Resulting scans showed that he bruised and strained ligaments rather than an ACL tear, which it was originally feared to be. Liverpool and Crystal Palace will both be hopeful that he is fit enough to feature before the season is over.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lazar Markovic \u2013 Hull City<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Markovic put in a very solid performance at the weekend during a very uneventful encounter with Southampton. The Serb was proving hard to handle on the right wing before he was eventually substituted in stoppage time. The match ended 0-0. He spoke out this week and said that he believed that he wasn\u2019t given a full opportunity to perform at Liverpool. This suggests he is keen to have a future at Anfield and hopeful to have a chance to justify his sizeable price tag.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jon Flanagan &#8211; Burnley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Made his first appearance for Burnley since their FA Cup defeat to Lincoln City, when he came on as a halftime substitute against Crystal Palace on Saturday. Had a decent game at left-back and helped his side secure a clean sheet and a 2-0 victory over the Eagles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Danny Ward \u2013 Huddersfield Town<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Had a great game on Tuesday night during the 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers. He commanded his area well and made a few decent saves on his way to a hard-earned clean sheet. Appeared to be rested at the weekend as he was an unused substitute against Birmingham City. Could potentially be rested again next week as Huddersfield look to prepare for the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ryan Kent \u2013 Barnsley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kent was a key player for his side and played with a very attacking mindset. He was an important playmaker and helped create many chances during Barnsley\u2019s 1-1 draw with Burton Albion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andre Wisdom \u2013 Red Bull Salzburg<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Enjoyed a successful week which started on Wednesday with an emphatic 5-0 away win over Admira Moedling in the Stiegl Cup semi-final. Although he wasn\u2019t called upon too often, Wisdom had a solid game and helped secure the clean sheet. RB Salzburg will face Rapid Wien in the final on 1st June. At the weekend, his played out a 1-1 draw at home to SV Ried. Although they would\u2019ve been disappointed to only pick up a point at home, it does take them one more little step closer to the title.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allan Rodrigues \u2013 Hertha Berlin<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Controlled the game for his side as he once again put in a commanding performance in the centre of midfield. Most of the play went through him and he was by far the standout out player for Berlin. In the end it wasn\u2019t enough as they went down 2-0 to Werder Bremen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brooks Lennon \u2013 Real Salt Lake City<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another disappointing outing for the American and his adoptive club, as they endured a 3-0 defeat away to Kansas City. Lennon had an average game on the right wing and tried to create some attacking opportunities but, like the rest of his team, he was largely ineffective. He also picked up a yellow card during the match.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lloyd Jones \u2013 Swindon Town<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 21-year-old hadn\u2019t featured in a Swindon matchday squad since February, but found himself in the news this week when he was arrested over an assault in a Cheltenham nightclub. The incident happened back in March but the news only broke this week as he was bailed until the end of May.
