Sadio Mane\u2019s brace\u00a0inspired a 6-1 walloping\u00a0of the Hornets to put Liverpool\u00a0at the summit of the top flight.<\/p>\n
Jurgen Klopp’s men\u00a0played some sumptuous football to earn they victory and critics agree the Reds have emerged as genuine title contenders as they\u00a0moved one point clear of second-placed Chelsea thanks to a marauding goal spree in front of 53,000 fans.<\/p>\n
The Kop giants took the lead in the 27th minute when Senegal ace\u00a0Mane met Philippe Coutinho\u2019s corner with a header that looped past Watford keeper Heurelho Gomes.<\/p>\n
And then just three minutes later, Roberto Firmino picked out Coutinho on the edge of the box\u00a0and the Liverpool forward fired home with a fine low strike.<\/p>\n
Klopp\u2019s team were three up two minutes before half-time as Emre Can arrived unmarked at the far post to head in Adam Lallana\u2019s cross.<\/p>\n
There was no stopping there. Firmino added the fourth in the 57th minute, the Brazilian finishing off Lallana\u2019s cross, before Mane got his second in the 60th minute with a clinical close-range effort from Firmino\u2019s pass.<\/p>\n
But amidst the title talk, Klopp says he won\u2019t do anything but focus on making his side even better for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n
He said:<\/strong> \u201cI have no idea, we will see.
