Joe Allen looks likely to start against West Ham at Anfield this afternoon judging by Liverpool Manager Brendan Rodgers:<\/p>\n
\u201cI thought Joe did well against Norwich,\u201d<\/em> Rodgers told the ECHO.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cOf course there was a bit of anxiety and nervousness at times which comes from having not played for so long but in general I was pleased with him”.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s been difficult for Joe because he\u2019s been up and down with injuries and then he\u2019s been unable to get in the team”.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cHe has done very well in training. We certainly needed to make some changes to get to a high level technically in the game.
