Here we will go through the top 5 Liverpool performances from 2020.

Liverpool 2 – 0 Manchester United | January 19, 2020

The infamous “we’re gonna win the league” chant boomed around Anfield at the start of the year after Mo Salah’s late strike against Manchester United.

Liverpool held their one goal advantage for the majority of the game and came close to making it 2-0 on a number of occasions.

Jordan Henderson’s thumping effort in the second half hit the frame of the goal but it was Salah’s late winner in stoppage time which put an end to the game.

Alisson ran the full length of the pitch to start the celebrations and Liverpool fans believed (once again) that this would be their year.
