Now, with fewer than six months left on his deal with the Reds, the 32-year-old is free to discuss a potential contract with another club. This is where the Saudi Arabia rumours make their comeback.
It is said that clubs from the Saudi Pro League are ready to welcome the Liverpool winger with open arms.
