What Is The Best Month Of The Year For Liverpool FC

At one point or another, Liverpool will have had to put a run together in order to try to either win the title, win a trophy or else save the season. Sometimes the club starts well and then falls off a cliff, but is there one month that is the favourite of the Reds, looking back at history?

Here is a look at how many times Liverpool have won 100% of their games in each month of the year, looking back to 1892 and through until the end of the 2023-2024 season:

Month Number of Seasons When All Games Won Number of Games Played Across Winning Seasons Average Number of Wins Per Season
January 5 24 4.8
February 11 40 3.6
March 5 25 5
April 6 32 5.3
May 15 31 2.0
June 1 1 1
July 3 5 1.6
August 15 28 1.8
September 6 28 4.6
October 4 18 4.5
November 2 10 5
December 6 31 5.1

You can see from the average number of wins across a season in which all of the games played were won that April is Liverpool’s best month. That is good news, when you consider that it is the business end of the season.

Obviously how many games have been played in total is the crucial factor, with February arguably being the better month on that front.
