Was you surprised to see such a strong line up against Porto?
Yes a little, would have liked to see Firmino given a rest but glad Salah got his and there was no point risking VVD ahead of Saturday but I was abundantly clear just how important he is for us already, I know it was 0-0 but at times the back 4 looked so disorganised.
The game was a dead rubber anyway but what did you make of the performance knowing we had that in mind?
Was at times slow, lax but I didn’t expect anything else really, you’d be a fool to think we were gonna go out an try steamroll them, it was all about getting the job done which they did.
What team would you want in the quarterfinal draw?
Juventus or Bayern I’d be happy with, but again without trying to sound biased I genuinely don’t believe there is anyone left who I look at and think fuck that don’t wanna play them, and it’s a brilliant feeling to have I’ll be honest. I’m calling it now we’re winning this, number 6 is on its way!!
