LFC season so far review by @DaveHendrick_

Peter gets the thoughts of Dave Hendrick on the LFC Season so far…

Give us your Watford recap first Dave?

I thought Mane was really good. One of his best performances of the year. It’s good to see him playing with confidence and being involved in the build-up play so much. He adds a different dimension to the team when he drops deeper and starts to be a playmaker.

I thought Gomez and Robertson were really good as well. The whole defence performed well but the fullbacks, in particular, impressed me.

But it really was the Mo Salah show, wasn’t it? Four goals and a great assist for Bobby, Mo’s the best player in the league right now and hopefully that form continues to the end of the season.

Can you give us your season so far review?

Overall it’s hard not to be very happy with this season I reckon. We’d be challenging for the title if City were just having a normal season rather than an all-time great season. We’re in the 1/4s of the Champions League which is massive for us after the embarrassment we suffered the last time we were in the competition. I think Klopp is making good progress. All of the summer signings have worked out which is massive for a club like us that has to work on a budget. The arrival of Van Dijk has made a huge difference, he seems to inspire confidence in others and especially in the goalkeeper.

Team for Palace

I think Klopp goes with his strongest team after the 2-week break and Liverpool win 3-1 because we’re in really good form and Palace are struggling this season.

 Score prediction CPFC v LFC?

I’ll go 1-3 to the Reds

Thanks to all at FOL for the interview

Why Are People So Scared to Say Liverpool Will Win the League?

In spite of the fact that we’ve only just entered March, Liverpool have the Premier League title sewn up. The Reds sit 13 points clear of Arsenal, albeit the Gunners have a game-in-hand, and the next match is a home one against Southampton. If you were to rank all of the matches that Liverpool have […]

Would Liverpool be Better Off Losing The League Cup Semi-Final?

Liverpool Football Club exists to win silverware. Display even the slightest inkling that you might lack any sort of ambition and that is the kind of line that is inevitably thrown in your face. The Reds are the most successful club in England for a reason, which is based on being able to win silverware […]

No New Signings and No Contracts: Do Liverpool Fans Have Cause For Concern?

It seems almost illogical for Reds fans to be worried because of the season the club is enjoying – currently top of the Premier League and having finished top of the Champions League qualifying table, losing only their final match with essentially a second string, though, there is an element of worry among the faithful. […]
