Huddersfield Review and Spurs Preview @_Chris_Hurst_

Peter speaks to our regular contributor Chris Hurst.

Can you give us your thoughts on the victory at Huddersfield on Tuesday evening ?

Was ok wasn’t it haha, think it was massively important to get back to winning ways, and I must admit I didn’t think we would given the last two games but thankfully the lads were magnificent and got us the three points.

There was many good performances but who got your mom in that game?

If you follow me on twitter you’ll know I’ve always been a massive fan of Emre Can, me and Dave (Hendrick) are always discussing how important he is……honest, but in all seriousness he did have a very good game as did Henderson I thought, but I’d have to go for Can this time.

What are your thoughts on Liverpool allowing Coutinho and Sturridge to leave without bringing in any replacements ?

I think it’s a very risky gamble by Klopp and FSG to be honest, there’s still an awful lot of football to be played, and fatigue will play a huge part if injuries don`t, can understand Coutinho going given the fee but to let Sturridge go on loan was baffling to me.

Is Jurgen Klopp right to go and trust the current squad for the rest of the season?

Personally no, if Salah or Firmino get injured were gonna be relying on Ings or Solanke to lead the line, now I’m not sayin they’re bad players but there nowhere near on the same level as them two are they, although having said that I’ve got a feeling Danny Ings will become an important player for us over the next couple months.

Do you think there will be many changes for the Spurs game?

Think Van Dijk will come back in also Chamberlain for Milner other than that though can’t see the need to make any more to be honest and rightly so, far to much chopping and changing, but then with such a small squad we have to try rest players when we can, but spurs wouldn’t be the game to do it I know that.

What is your score prediction and reasons why please ?

2-2 I’ll go for, think it will be a open enough game but think both sides will cancel each other out. Just hope we can do a job on Kane and Eriksson an keep them quiet.

Big thanks to Chris for the Q&A Interview on FOL.
