Swansea Review / WBA Preview by @mkdlfc

The Kop Table Interview

Peter talks to Mike Davies about all thing LFC.

It was a very disappointing result in South Wales but what were your thoughts on the team performance?

I felt Liverpool were well below par reasons complacency may have crept in Swansea had a tactic to push us inside ever time we attacked where it was congested also there was no room over the top We didn’t have enough movement up front to move there defence about Mane and Salah should of stayed wide with the fullbacks also overlapping this would of created space for Firmino and runners from midfield.

The substitutes bench wasn’t the strongest on Monday with no “game changing” players should Liverpool be looking to strengthen now this has been highlighted?

I personally would go out and try and get either Lemar or Fekir as I feel both of these players are capable of unlocking defences or maybe Mahrez proven PL player and try one last attempt to get Keita in

Not many players stood out but who was your MOM against Swansea?

Robertson was below his normal self but was one of our best players VVD in my opinion. He did well again apart from the goal we conceded but apart from that we were all well below par so VVD

Do you think Klopp will go with a full strength team against WBA or will we see him make lots of changes in the FA Cup?

For Saturday I think we will have a few changes TAA , Moreno Lallana and Solanke I feel will all be in the starting 11

How important is it that we bounce back at the weekend v WBA?

We definitely need to bounce back with a good win so we can take it into the next league game.

Liverpool v WBA score prediction and why please?

I feel the score will be 3-1 fancy WBA to score from a set piece but we will just have enough and get the third in the last 10 mins as they open up to chase the equaliser.

I’ve always wanted to write about the idea that Steven Gerrard quit too soon. This article will explore the argument that had the former Liverpool captain carried on just a few seasons longer, he could have ended on a high note and helped Klopp’s side get over the line for some vital silverware. Gerrard quit […]
