Man City Review and Swansea Preview with @thesmigger

The Kop Table Interview

What was your thoughts on the performance against Man City?

What wasn’t in that performance. We knew what city would bring they’re a top side and pep has them purring. Klopp has his team had an agenda and it was This is our back yard and no one comes in without knowing they’ve had a game. It was powerful electric and made the hairs on the back of your kneck stand up. We gave city and pep a taste of the Own medicine and it was beautiful to watch.

Why can’t we generate that atmosphere for every game inside Anfield?

Our supporters seem to react to how we play… when are manager and players are right up for it we seem to act the same. It’s really hard to understand. That 8 mins was the best I’ve seen our fans since the game against Dortmund. It’s sad that our home is like this. The opposition the fact that city hadn’t lost. It was like we’re going to show you what Anfield is really like. That shouldn’t matter tho that it was city we should be like that every week.

There where many excellent performances but who was your MOM?

You could have 5 names on your hand for MOM so many fantastic individual performance. Am going to go with Andrew Robertson the fact that he had raheem sterling in his pocket and the fact he delt with Kyle walker to. The lad gave 1000% he never stopped his aggression and passion to play for us was unreal. Hope we see more of that till the end of the season…

Which of the 4 goals was your favourite goal and reasons why?

That’s a tough one. But am just going to favour Bobby Firmino`s over Mo salahs purely because the cleverness of his run from in front of John stones then lose him in sight before having the determination to get in front of him with strength then have the composure to lift it over keeper into the far corner. Fantastic goal.

We have 7 days till Swansea barring Injury would you play the same team?

The only changes I can see is VVD coming back in for Lovren and maybe TAA for Gomez. I don’t think Jurgen will change it up to much. The only other reason is he sees the game in a tactically different way.

Do you think we will sign anyone in this window and do we need too?

I would like to see us get a CDM or a keeper. Then I’d be surprised if we do. The market will be a hard one to find the right player. One that is eligible to play in the CL. Klopp has a great balance of a squad. We didn’t look like we missed Phil on Sunday so any buy now would be a bit of a panic just to replace him…

What is your score prediction and why?

Don’t be fooled by this Swansea side even tho they’re bottom the still play some nice football and they’re in a dog fight. They will be very happy to take a point from us. I think we still have to much for them and as longer the game goes on they will be more vulnerable to the counter attack. So going 3-0. Up the reds

Big thanks to Paul for the Q&A Interview on FOL

Why Steven Gerrard should have prolonged his career and helped Jurgen Klopp achieve Liverpool’s ambitions

I’ve always wanted to write about the idea that Steven Gerrard quit too soon. This article will explore the argument that had the former Liverpool captain carried on just a few seasons longer, he could have ended on a high note and helped Klopp’s side get over the line for some vital silverware. Gerrard quit […]

Harry Wilson – Hull City Harry Wilson scored his fifth goal in Hull colours when he opened the scoring for their 5-0 thrashing of Burton Albion. The Welshman picked up the ball on the right-hand side of the box, before accurately placing it in the far corner of the net. From that point on Hull […]
