WATCH OUT JURGEN: VILLARREAL ARE NO MUGS

After Thursday nights heroics against Borussia Dortmund at Anfield, where a 4-3 comeback victory against a very good  team which will live long in the memory of every Liverpool fan, Jurgen Klopp’s side have been drawn against Spanish opponents for the Europa League semi-final.

Villarreal are in 4th place in La Liga with 60 points, 12 points behind Real Madrid in 3rd.

Nicknamed ‘The Yellow Submarines’: their Manager Marcelo Garcia has developed a good team who beat Sparta Prague 6-3 over the two legs of their quarter-final with danger man, Cedric Bakambo among the goals.
Also in their ranks are Dennis Suarez and Roberto Soldado, once of Tottenham Hotspur.

They defend in numbers and attack at great speed and skill to often lethal effect.

They won’t fear playing us in the Europa League semi’s but Liverpool now installed as hot-favourites to win the Trophy, certainly don’t fear anyone.
