BOOM! SAYS KLOPP AS LIVERPOOL DEMOLISH MAN CITY AT ANFIELD.

Jurgen Klopp Liverpool

Revenge is a dish best served cold as the saying goes and boy did Liverpool dish it out to Man City last night.

Goals from Adam Lallana, James Milner and Roberto Firmino ensured a comfortable victory to avenge the Capital One League Final defeat last Sunday evening.

Liverpool started without Daniel Sturridge, Sakho, Lucas and Moreno and this side started that much better, going at Pellegrini’s side with venom, fighting and tackling for every ball, Man City were 2nd best throughout.

Pleasing was the performance of Jon Flanagan at right back, he snuffed out Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero at crucial times proving after his long injury lay-off that he is a far better player than Alberto Moreno, back to Spain for him in the Summer I hope.

James Milner’s influence on this Liverpool team is growing by the week, 7 goals so far this Season, he works hard for the team, tackling, passing, taking corners, crossing in some good balls, he was one of Brendan Rodger’s better signings.

Lallana played well scoring the opening goal, setting up Firmino for another, he was missed on Sunday.

And another clean sheet, things are looking up at Liverpool as they have 41 points in 8th with a game in hand…Boom! Jurgen Klopp.
