ALEXANDRE PATO TO BE KLOPP’S FIRST SIGNING IN JANUARY?

Friends Of Liverpool

Big rumours doing the rounds about this Pato guy, according to various sources and now The Mirror, the striker is set to join Liverpool in the January Transfer Window.

Liverpool have reached an agreement in principle to sign Corinthians striker Alexandre Pato, according to the Brazilian club’s president.

The former AC Milan forward was linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, and revealed that Manchester United approached him over a deadline day move.

But Corinthians president Robero de Andrade says Pato is now almost certain to move to Anfield instead.

“There is an agreement in principle with Liverpool for the transfer in the coming weeks,” he told TuttoMercatoWeb.

“Pato had long expressed a desire to return to Europe.

“Liverpool await, there are a few missing details, but Klopp will have a new reinforcement and for Pato the Premier League will be a new springboard.”

We do need a bit of cover for Danny Ings unfortunate ACL injury, Sturridges continued absence and Origi’s lack of goals.

Who knows he could be the man for the job.
