POSSIBLE LIVERPOOL TEAM TO PLAY SOUTHAMPTON

Friends Of Liverpool

With the injury to midfielder Philippe Countinho, Liverpool may have to shuffle the deck a little bit for the visit of Southampton on Saturday afternoon.

Also a doubt is Daniel Agger who injured himself lifting weights in the gym.

So, I have gone for a conservative team selection for the game on Saturday.

I expect Andre Widom to be replaced by the impressive Kolo Toure at right-back. Skrtel and Sakho, who looks the business as the centre-back pairing.

Lucas and Jordan Henderson then to occupy the holding midfield roles with Steven Gerrard as the link to the attack of Sterling on the right wing, Moses on the left and Daniel Sturridge up front.

BR watched Luis Alberto score a hat-trick for the Under-21’s during the week, so he may also be in contention for the game as he is a similar type of player to Coutinho, but I think the Manager will stick to his tried and trusted for this one.

Prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Southampton
