POSSIBLE LIVERPOOL TEAM TO PLAY NOTTS COUNTY IN THE CUP

Friends Of Liverpool

Liverpool are back in action tonight when they face Notts County in the League Cup, otherwise known as The Capital One Cup.

Brendan Rodgers has vowed not make the same mistakes as he did last Season where he rested several first-team players and got dumped out of both domestic competitions.

A year later and the attitude has changed markedly, failure in the Cups means no European action which also makes signing quality players almost impossible.

The League One side, also known as The Magpies, represents an ideal game for Liverpool to blood some of their new recruits ahead of their Premiership show-down with Man Utd.

Along with the experienced heads of Captain Steven Gerrard, Kolo Toure and Joe Allen, the Manager is sure to mix it up against Chris Kiwomya’s team.
