PROBABLE LIVERPOOL TEAM TO FACE WIGAN

Liverpool v Wigan

With Liverpool currently 13th in the Premier League, a game at Anfield against Wigan, whilst it may prove tricky, is an absolute must-win for Brendan Rodgers Liverpool side.

This is my possible team to face the Latics at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon for a change.

Enriqué is a definite starter following his Man-of-the-Match display at Chelsea last Sunday. Lets hope that both Daniel Agger and Martin Skrtel are both fit to play after their injury concerns.

With Lucas Leiva having returned to full training this week, Nuri Şahin will be nervously looking over his shoulder, his performances lately have been rather anonymous.

The only real debate then is if Suso or Assaidi should play on the wing. I am surprised that the Manager has not made more use of his signing from Herenveen, the guy is a real threat down the flanks and chips in with a few goals as well.

Somehow, I expect the Manager to persist with young Suso who is a promising talent.

With Luis Suarez in scintillating form for club and Country, I expect him to score one or two goals at Anfield and Liverpool to win 2-1.

The knives are out for Arne Slot, of that there is no doubt. Too many people are willingly ignoring the bucketload of context that surrounds Liverpool Football Club this season, instead taking the easy way out of imagining that it all boils down to just the Dutchman and if he were to be replaced then […]

Liverpool Were So Poor in the First-Half Against Nottingham Forest

Anyone who watched the match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday will have been struck by just how poor the Reds were in the first 45 minutes. Although things improved slightly, which is why we were able to escape with a 1-0 win, if the home side had gone in […]
