LIVERPOOL PLAYER-RATINGS V SUNDERLAND

Liverpool came from behind to gain a draw away at Sunderland.

Despite dominating the game, Liverpool were a goal down at half-time from The Black Cat’s Steven Fletcher.

Thankfully Liverpool’s Luis Suarez rescued a well-deserved point from the Stadium of Light.

Reina: Had little to do except pick the ball out of his net 6/10

Agger: Played solidly, composed on the ball 6/10
Kelly: Kept James McLean quiet 7/10
Allen: Another accomplished perfomance from the young man 7/10
Gerrard: Was busy in the middle, gradually adjusting to his new role under Rodgers 7/10
Shelvey: Had an excellent first-half, might have scored 6/10
Sterling: Another lively, busy display by the young starlet, set up the equaliser 8/10
Borini: Started well with two shots on goal saved, faded as the game went on 6/10
Suarez: Was busy as always, went down too easily at times but scored Liverpool’s equaliser 7/10
