CORDOZO THE MAIN THREAT AGAINST BENFICA

Friends Of Liverpool

Liverpool face a tough return leg at Anfield against Benfica.
Already 2-1 down thanks to two well taken penalties taken by Paraguayan striker Oscar Cordozo, the Reds will have to be extra careful in defending this man.
The 6ft 3″ striker has scored 27 goals in all competitions this season so he needs serious looking after Thursday night.
In the first leg, their main striker could easily have had a hat-trick thanks to some slack defending by Liverpool’s back four.
However, Cordozo didn’t find the back of the net with any of his chances, luckily for Liverpool or the tie would be out of sight by now.
I am glad to see Kyrgiacos will be in the back four as he gives us an aerial solidity at the back which will be vital.
So,on Thursday, its all about, keeping things tight at the back and relying on Torres to get the goals to get us into the semi-finals of the Europa League.

Bet Arsenal and Chelsea would like to be still in Europe.
Maybe even Man Utd too!
