SKRTEL OUT FOR EIGHT WEEKS

Friends Of Liverpool

Liverpool FC have tonight disclosed that Martin Skrtel’s broken metatarsal will not need an operation.
However, he is expected to be out for eight weeks thereby missing most of the run-in to the end of the season.
The no-nonsense defender will be missed by the Reds as his uncompromising style of play endeared him to the Anfield faithful.

We play Wigan next Monday followed by Lille in the Europa League that Thursday.
Onwards and upwards.
