Liverpool V Leicester game preview by Reds fan @_Chris_Hurst_

The Kop Table Interview

Peter sits down with Chris Hurst to preview the Leicester game ….

Hello Chris it was an important win after two consecutive home draws for Liverpool , what was your thoughts on the performance against Swansea?

A very good performance I thought mate, I did say before hand that I didn’t see these causing to many problems but after a poor first half we come out second half and it was like watching a different team.

Some quality performances but who was your mom in Tuesday evening?

Chamberlain once again was brilliant an deserved his goal, Robertson is also finding his feet in the team and is looking like he’s gonna be hard to shift when Moreno is fit, Firmino and Coutinho were also brilliant, but I think TAA deserves most praise, what a performance topped off by a superb finish, also his first premier league goal in front of the Kop , doesn’t get much better does it.

Lallana made his comeback against Swansea how did you feel he played?

If you follow me on twitter you’ll know I’m not Lallana’s biggest fan I just don’t see the big thing with him, you get people saying ‘he starts the press’ but I think it’s just some people’s way of justifying his place in the team because he offers very little apart from running a bit more than others, but with Chamberlain putting in the performances he is and the other attacking midfielders we have playing he way they are, Lallana will struggle to get into the starting XI for me. I did pay attention when he come on, he loves a Cruyff turn doesn’t he ( Laughs) , I didn’t think he done to bad but at the same time didn’t see anything where I thought “yeah that’s what we’ve been missing” which for me sums his time at the club up perfectly. In my opinion, for a player of his age and also for a player who’s missed more games through injury under Klopp than Sturridge I`d cash in this summer while we can still get a decent fee.

Was you surprised to see Mane start as a substitute against Swansea?

Not at all, I was quite relived to be honest, I think last 3 games or so he’s been awful, god knows how he stayed on as long as he did v Arsenal, in that game I think you could see he was just trying to hard and nothing was comin off which you cloud see was starting to frustrate him. I think it was right to give him a break hopefully he’s had a decent rest and we can see the Manè we all know and love come back soon.

What changes do you envisage Klopp will make against Leicester?

You never know with Klopp mate, not for the first time this season if it were me I’d make absolutely no changes at all but we all know that won’t happen, with Manè not featuring I think he will come back in but for who? I just don’t know, maybe give Salah a breather? Time will tell.

What is your score prediction and why?

I expect another goal fest to be honest I don’t think Klopp will let the team perform like they did v Everton it West Brom again this season, I’ll go 4-1 this time out.
