1.Evening Kent great to have you with us, firstly how would you sum up Liverpool`s season so far?
It’s a tough one genuinely hoped for a title challenge until the transfer window closed than kind of felt like I knew what was to come haven’t strengthened in the area we should have and it has shown AGAIN! Hope it’s not groundhog season in terms of achievements like at the minute though it’s hard to envision anything other than a hope for top 4 and a possible good run in CL
2. Who has been the best performer for Liverpool in your opinion?
Easy, Mo Salah! By quite a distance as well I think! Came back into the Prem afte a poor first spell and has literally hit the ground running! Very fast! What a player and what a guy by all accounts! People will talk about Moreno finding consistency (which is about fuckin time ) and him being like a new player but it takes more than 14 or so games to impress me and I’d still be looking to give Robertson a chance more than he has been.
3. Which has been the best Liverpool performance this season?
Arsenal I think. From start to finish we dominated made them look dreadful and scored four goals whilst keeping a clean sheet! It was a real quality performance and certainly one you would choose to be replicating.
4. Which has been the worst Liverpool performance?
Tottenham! Definitely! I mean City was dreadful but we had the excuse of being a man down. But Tottenham was another level of shit! Really really poor team display and one that we looked like we conceded pretty easy.
5. Do you think Klopp will address the defensive problems by making signings in January?
I REALLY REALLY HOPE SO!!!!!! He has too! Surely ! If not then what’s the point in us carrying on the season when we know what’s to come! I don’t mean that In a dramatic way I just mean it’s obvious there’s a problem there and has been for ages! So sort it! Or else we will be seeing the same things for an eternity.
6. What are your hopes and expectations for the rest of the season?
Win the Champions League! Lol.
7. Who would you sell/buy in January to strengthen the Liverpool squad?
Wouldn’t sell anyone not in January not if we don’t need to! I mean maybe look to move the likes of Markovic on but it’s about the defence for me! So anyone who will come in and make an instant impression on the look of the defence! Possibly a striker as well! Names are hard especially in January. I love Timo Werner and Icardi both no-nonsense proper love scoring goals type of strikers! Icardi I like very much indeed. Thanks to Peter and the team at FOL for the interview.
