Liverpool Player Ratings v Zenith:
- Reina 6/10 Did little wrong, had an aimless swipe at a clearance but made a great save in the 2nd half from Hulk.
- Johnson 5/10 Was solid but had a quiet game overall.
- Carragher 6/10 Will be remembered for his mistake for Hulk's goal, sadly, otherwise did very well.
- Agger 7/10 Played well in defence and attack, won the free-kick for Suarez's first goal.
- Enrique 8/10 Another great display by the attacking full back, linked up well with his team-mates.
- Lucas 7/10 Worked hard in midfield to nullify the threat of Zenith, getting back to his destructive best.
- Allen 8/10 Showed his worth to the team with an energetic display and a good goal too.
- Gerrard 8/10 Pulled the strings in midfield and attack throughout, was unlucky to have his shot saved late on.
- Henderson 7/10 Put in an energetic display, won a lot of tackles and intercepts, ever-improving player.
- Downing 6/10 Made a decent contribution, worked hard and showed well for the ball, still lacks the final killer pass.
- Suarez 9/10 Two world class free-kicks to bring the Reds to the brink of winning the tie, was heart-broken at the end, quality.
