BACK IN THE USSR! POSSIBLE LIVERPOOL TEAM V ANZHI

FC Anzhi   v   Liverpool

Better late than never! Here is my prediction for the Liverpool team to play FC Anzhi at 5:00pm Thursday.

With most of the senior players including Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez left at home for Sunday’s showdown with Chelsea, Brendan Rodgers will opt for a different team to face high-flying Anzhi in the Moscow winter, away from their normal venue in Dagestan.

The mega-rich club play their games at Lokomotiv Moscow due to builing-work at the Dynamo Stadium.

With a side that includes Samuel Eto, Yuri Zhirkov, expect a very tough test from Gus Hiddink’s Anzhi side.

Whoever wins this game will top the Group.

I am going for a 1-1 draw.

No Trophy, no Champions League qualification, nothing. Too […]
