Liverpool secured their first league win of the new season, thanks to a virtuoso display by hat-trick man, Luis Suarez.
Not only did he score a great hat-trick at Carrow Road, he also set up a goal on a plate for Nuri Şahin.
Back to his scintillating best Suarez inspired his Liverpool team-mates to an emphatic win against Norwich City.

- Skrtel: 6/10. Looked all at Sea whenever Norwich attacked, can do better.

- Johnson: 8/10. Good display by the England defender in attack and defence.
- Şahin: 8/10. An assured display by the Turkish midfielder who chipped in with a neat finish.
- Gerrard: 7/10. Was his busy assured self around the park, trying to dictate play, got a goal for his efforts.
- Allen: 6/10. His first anonymous game for Liverpool, the game seemed to pass him by somewhat.
- Sterling: 7/10. Another enthusiastic display by the youngster.
- Suso: 6/10. Got on the ball alot, tired in the second-half.
- Suarez: 10/10. What a game by Suarez, three goals, one assist, might have scored five!
Allen was only as annonymous as his position needed him to be. Made tackles dictated the play, immense in midfield. Quiet and efficient, don't sell the lad short, he has been the best player in the red shirt so far this season.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with Zeyar. It was da same for Makelele, going about his chores quietly, pulling the strings in midfield. If u want to talk about annonymous, then it was Henderson. Even at 5-2 up, he was still unadventurous. Unless he changes his approach by end of dis season, he has to go.
ReplyDeleteThe Reds were vulnerable in defense, shown with that 2 goals conceded and the numerous scares throughout the 90 minutes when Norwich were playing not so good as they normally did. They should address this soonest if they are to continue to improve.
