Fernando Torres is back at it again.
Six months after leaving Liverpool in a wave of acrimony, the beleagured Chelsea striker persists in sticking the knife in on his old team;
“Liverpool’s future isn’t looking bright,” he said.
“I always gave them a 100%, but it was a difficult situation.
Even though I felt like I was a big part of the club, you have to also look after your personal ambitions.
“For me, that is winning trophies and unfortunately that doesn’t look like a possibility for them.Even though I felt like I was a big part of the club, you have to also look after your personal ambitions.
“It’s no coincidence that Xabi Alonso, Javier Mascherano and myself all left Liverpool. It was always about ambitions.
I played for Liverpool for a few years and had some great moments.
“But when a club like Chelsea, with bigger potential, come calling, it’s hard to say no especially when it looked impossible to win the League for Liverpool.”
Talk about sour grapes, jeez Torres we adored you at Anfield.
Yes things were very bad under Woy Hodgson, but everyone from Jamie to Stevie and many others put a shift in, even though they knew he was the wrong man for the job, they toughed it out.
The Liverpool players, unlike yourself, did their best and with the return of Kenny Dalglish, we will make serious progress this season.
You haven't exactly made great progress since leaving Liverpool,
sorry about burning your shirt, too bad, stuff happens.
You did play really well for us for two years, thanks for that and
thanks for the £50 million quid which we made good use of.
So stop having a go at Liverpool FC and concentrate on your new club Chelsea.

Wonder why he feels he has to keep having to justify his decision. We have Luis and Andy - we've moved on, he's obviously having trouble.
ReplyDeleteHe is treated like a king in liverpool squad .. a super star .. i don't think he is getting the same treatment in Chelsea as everyone in the chelsea team seems to be a stars ..
ReplyDeletehe is not fed well like how Stevie assisted him on scoring goals .. now he has to change his style of play which he finds it difficult .. he has to run and get the ball .. i think he getting lazy over it ..
Time to run and get the ball Torres .. u got to make things working .. hope you are not another shevchenko
He really want a 'hate me' tag on him.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't play well this time around torres, Chelsea fans will be calling for your head, players ready to take your place, at games you will hear the fans calling you sh*t and your family will have to move and under woy you where sh*t and you got lots of love from liverpool fans and winning smomthing against all the odds is a great felling, but that comes with pressure which you could never handle, Chelsea may win somthing this year, but can you win over the fans, So let your goals do the talking, start paying Chelsea club and fans back for that big money move and do you still think you where worth 50 million? prove it or shut up
ReplyDeleteWho is this Torres guy and why does he always makes it in the Liverpool news by talking bout our club? I cant remember him being the news for scoring goals in the past 6 months...
ReplyDeleteIf Chelsea dont do well this Season, wait for what he says then. Pervert.
ReplyDeletevery well said everyone! i think the twat is being haunted by his greedy decision and he's seriously in need of a backup, but too bad, even Yossi would never say such stuffs about Liverpool, neither would Alonso.
ReplyDeletei pray the fool remains goalless this season again and would wait for his lamentations!
YNWA! IKWT!
Torres really needs to justify leaving Anfield for Stamford bridge by delivering the goals.I really would want to see how they will overhaul both United&Man.city to the EPL title this season? -Akinleye M.Olawale(Lagos,Nigeria).Torres really needs to justify leaving Anfield for Stamford bridge by delivering the goals.I really would want to see how they will overhaul both United&Man.city to the EPL title this season? -Akinleye M.Olawale(Lagos,Nigeria).
ReplyDeleteHe probably can't get over the fact that we go over him so quickly (thanks to Suarez) or he's jealous of us right now cause we got all these good midfield players that could provide ammunition unlike Chelsea's midfield and I agree with you John. Thanks for the 50 mill Nando.
ReplyDeletenando jus go!!!ohhh no leave tha feds nd concentrate wth za blues i pray u score goals again ths season!!so sorry for the comparison u aint cloz to suarez!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the comments lads, I hold no grudge against FT but I do think he should stop running our great club down all the time and concentrate on playing for Chelsea.
ReplyDeleteGreat article and it looks like Fernando should stop talking and start scoring. Who has spent more money in the last 6 months Fernando?? Yes its Liverpool who have more ambition to win the title at the moment. And what about your own performances, 1 goal in 18 games is hardly a record to be proud of. And like the author says, it was 7 months ago that you left, so you should move on and forget about it.
