SUNDAY MAYBE D-DAY FOR ROY

Roy Hodgson's unfortunate reign at Anfield looks likely to extend onto Sunday and the FA Cup clash with Man Utd at Old Trafford.
In an unlikely turn of events, John Henry and Tom Werner will not be able to get into the UK until then to discuss with Roy his tenure at the club.
Incumbent Kenny Dalglish is in Dubai and will not be back either until Sunday.
So everything is on hold until the weekend.
It means that Hodgson will be still in charge of the team against Utd at Sunday lunch-time and even if he engineers a famous victory over our hated rivals, he may still be walking the plank.
The Fenway Sports Group have become alarmed at Liverpool's results, performances and, in particular, the opinion of the fans.
They are most anxious to remedy the managerial situation as soon as possible and will relieve Hodgson of his duties late this weekend.

  2. This situation makes us a joke! Have the owners never heard of phone, fax and the net. They can appoint a new manager without being in the U.K, surely, just by picking up the phone ands sending a text or fax to make it more official. Even if we have to put up with Roy till Sunday, making the announcement that he will be parting company after the United Game should be possible and that his replacement will be announced formally on Monday, but one is being named: and some clue to the fans that it may be Kenny or another more acceptable replacement can also be done by proxy. We do not need to wait till the weekend in a modern world.

    Good bye Roy.
We the fans have given you the chances and the warnings that you needed and you have failed us.

Now please, Mr Hendry and Co, give us back our football club, and sack him. Make the announcement and then we can go and give United the thumping they deserve and show them no mercy.

    Cheers

  3. i could not agree more with Anonymous. What is there to discuss further.
In the last 6 months Clueless had shown us, the fans beyond reasonable doubt that even after 35years of managerial experience he is a mid table club manager at the most. He has no tactical or man mangement ability and has tranformed a team that finished 2nd just 2 seasons ago into firm relegation candidate.
Mr. Henry, you had earned a great deal of goodwill by getting rid of those cowboys but now are throwing it all away by your inaction over Hodgson. Give us our club back and while we could still call ourselves a premiership club before all its too late.
