Benayoun moving to Chelsea

Yossi Benayoun is probably heading out of Liverpool.
The Blues have put in a £6 million bid for the Israeli attacker and it is expected that the deal will go through.
Benayoun said: “Ancelotti wants me for next season and now everything depends on Liverpool. Chelsea will have to pay some £6 million but I believe that in the end I’ll be moving there.”
You will be missed Yossi, sorry to see you go.

  1. I would have hoped for a bit more than £6m to be honest. He is a decent squad player and will probably cost somewhere in the region of £10m to replace - Ozil, Turan, etc...

  2. I would have hoped for more for Yossi too Matt, this Turan fellow you mentioned is highly rated and we might have a chance of bringing him in as he has previously stated his desire to join Liverpool

  4. I would really love to see Turan at Liverpool - skilful, can play both wings as well as support, young and works hard. I have been impressed with Ozil too - a lot of similarities between him and Turan. That would actually be a perfect set of replacements for Babel and Benayoun thinking about it!

  5. I’d be quite shocked if this move actually happened.
