GILLETTE WANTS RAFA OUT NOW

Its is reported tonight that George Gillette wants an immediate end to Rafa Benitez's reign at Liverpool.
It is said that he was reluctant to award him a new five year deal last season and is now pushing for a termination of the under pressure Manager's contract.
Tom Hicks, however, is keen to keep Rafa at Anfield as he believes the man still holds the support of the Kop.
Though, the season to date has been very poor reaching a new low with the loss to Reading at Anfield on Wednesday, they managed a hard-fought draw with Stoke at the Potteries.
While the two Americans are at loggerheads, it appears that no decision will be reached on Benitez's future.
The Anfield faithful have a major bearing on all of this.
If they turn on Benitez, as they did after the Reading defeat, then matters will have come to a head and Hicks will act by removing Rafa.

  1. I am 100% sure that if another manager such as Guus Hiddink or the Special one takes the team as it is, he can turn that same team into a winner. It is more of a question of getting them being confident than football techniques.

  2. hey changing managers won't just solve or problems... the need of the hour is to change the owners and our season is not entirely rafa's fault... we have had a lot of injuries and dip in the form of the players... what we need is to get in some good owners who could spend big to improve the squad... bring in the SHEIKS...

  4. and what the hell does Gillett know about football! why doesn't he start the ball rolling by disappearing. Despite all the circumstances we are still in the race for 4th and surely we can draw confidence from the fact that noone is moving away from us. Time to focus not start again until the investment and owners are resolves
