REST IN PEACE DAD

I lost my father to cancer at ten to four today.
He put up a brave fight against this terrible disease but after 16 months he finally succumbed to the condition.
He passed away peacefully in the end, having slipped into a coma on Wednesday, he fought bravely but today, it became too much for him.
A good man, a kind man and a funny man, I will miss him greatly.
I was proud and lucky to have him as my father.
Rest in peace Dad.

    picture and words very emotional.
    Jim is at peace now, Mary and all of you are going to miss him so much., but she must be so proud of the great attendance at the funeral, which is testament to the way people thought of both of them. 42 years of a happy marriage and the memories she has will be with her forever.
